My biggest fear is marrying someone who has different marriage goals from mine, which is to worship Allah. Someone who is not steadfast in his prayers. Someone who lacks true Islam in his knowledge, actions, words, and ibadah. Someone who has an unIslamic akhlaq. Someone who lacks self-confidence and leadership qualities for a husband. Someone who has a clashing personality, lazy and uninspiring. Someone who is egoistical and ignorant. MasyaAllah, please keep me away from these kind of men.

I worry that Allah will take away Iman and Amaal from me, and thus make me a bad wife. And for not being able to bear children. Astaghfirullah, please don't leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye.

What would make me stay awake at night, is not being given the previlage even to have a good, suitable candidate for a husband as a partner in my worship to Allah.

MY BIGGEST FEAR IS UN-INTENTIONALLY MARRYING A WOMAN WHO IS DECEPTIVE, AND MANIPULATIVE TO THE POINT WHERE SHE COMMITS HARAAM, I CATCH HER, AND SHE TAKES HALF OF MY MONEY AND THE KIDS AND I LIVE A DEPRESSED AND A LONELY LIFE. AGGHHH! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

BUT INSHA'ALLAH I WILL MARRY AN PIOUS, HONEST, MODEST, LOVELY, BEAUTIFUL WOMAN.

What’s your biggest fear?

Fear of expecting too much from my wife after being exposed to an unIslamic environment for too long.

What’s your worry?

How to find the righteous wife who is well mannered and very obedient.

What do you stay up at night worrying about?

When would I find her.

■What’s your biggest fear?
-my lack of communication, as ive been told, would make my future spouse frustrated and unattracted with me.
-that my spouse and their family can not overlook some of my flaws, and expecting someone perfect out of me.

■What’s your worry?
-being recently laid off and in between jobs right now, and knowing that no one would accept me because im not currently working, and not seeing the potential in me.
-seperating from my parents once im married in a way that wont make them feel like im abandoning them.

■What do you stay up at night worrying about?
-thinking about all the fun and romantic things i can do with my wife that ive always wanted to do but never told anyone about, and knowing that im still single.

Assalamu alaykum wa rehmatullah! I am 23 years old. I have been looking for a husband for many months now and have begun to get worried that I may never find one. Please make Dua for me. Jazak Allah khair!

biggest fear: that, God forbid, i may never get married.
biggest worry: i worry about finding a God conscious man. even if i do find a good muslim man, there is so much that goes into making a marriage not just work but work great. i worry that while i have the drive to work for towards a great marriage, my husband may not.
stay up at night worrying: about the possibility that i may be alone forever. may Allah never test me in that way...
